Directions to the Reception

Our awesome neighbors the Coles, are being so generous and letting us have our reception in their beautifully remodled back yard. We are going to have all you can eat soft serve ice cream, and Sweet Tooth Fairy Cupcakes! It should be really fun!
So for directions, if you've ever been to my house in Pepperwood it should be very easy for you to find, they are our neighbors to the south. If not, here are some step by step directions to get there. Map quest and google have you take a very round about and confusing way, so I'd follow these!

1. Coming from either north or south you can exit from I-15 on the new 11400 S. exit, #292. head east
2. Continue on 11400 S. for quite some time. You will go up a big hill and go through a light and hit a 4-way stop. Go straight through the 4-way stop, passing a park on your left.
3. After passing the park, and later the Sandy Fire Station, you will turn left on High Mesa Drive.
4. Continue on High Mesa until you see a lot to your left where they train horses then take an imediate right on Pepperwood Drive.
5. Heading East on Pepperwood drive you will come to a large guard gate, stay in the left lane where it says "guest" and tell them you are heading to the Johnson/Dye Reception at 4 Parkside Lane. They will ask you your last name and let you through.
6. Continue on Pepperwood Drive for almost a mile. You will see a large gazebo, swimming pool, and park on your right. Our street is the next immediate right after the Volleyball court parking lot, Parkside Lane. You can park in that parking lot, the one by the pool, or along the south side of Pepperwood drive.
7. The house is the third on the left, #4 Parkside Lane.

*If the weather is bad (everyone pray, knock on wood, cross your fingers that it's not) keep heading east on Pepperwood drive until you see the east Pepperwood guard gate. As you exit Pepperwood there is a white chapel on your right, that's where we will be if the worst should happen.

It looks really long now that I look back, I tried to be detailed so it was easy but please call us if you have any questions on getting there!

Pictures from Bear Lake

A cruel game that shocks everyone except the person with the fastest reflexes. Nate was the best and only got shocked once after playing about 15 rounds!

We turned the family room into a make-shift movie theatre!

The crowded, but fun, hot tub

Golfing in the Sleet.

Teddy and Brinkley with my Grandpa who doesn't understand that dog's stomachs are different from humans.

The cabin is one place where no make up or a hair brush is required.

Memorial Weekend

Although it was way too cold for the end of May, this three day weekend was pretty great. We went up to our cabin in Bear Lake with the family. We ate a lot of good food and played some new fun games. The highlights were watching Teddy and Brinkley dog fight, Winning $10.00 from the family indy 500 pool, and watching Nate fling his shoe thirty feet into the air while trying to get some mud off the bottom. I of couse had to hike down the hill in the mud to get it because he now only had one shoe. Nate was also the winner of the memorial day game of golf that took place in the sleet.
Less than 5 weeks until the wedding! We still have a lot to do, but are really excited. Stay posted for more!

Never Thought this Day would Come

To the friends and family of Nathan and I,
It's true, I never thought there would be a time when I wanted a blog. But it turns out they come in handy when it comes to this wedding stuff. We will be posting directions, pictures, shower info, etc. on here as a quick means of communication. I'm totally clueless when it comes to blogging (hence the sadly simple background) so any advice on how to make this thing look cute is greatly appreciated. We also want to put up the story of how we met, our first date, proposal, and fun things about ourselves so you can all get to know us better!
Check back with us soon for more! xoxo
